MicroMeasurements Strain Gage Workshop

MicroMeasurements is the leading supplier of strain measuring devices, including strain gages and special resistive sensors. On Friday, November 2, MicroMeasurements held a strain gage workshop for a senior design group at UL Lafayette.

Students had the opportunity to learn about strain gage types, measurement methods, and accessories, including adhesives, as well as participate in a hands-on project. Each student, equipped with an aluminum beam and linear strain gage, attached the gage and tested the strain.
