Mechanical Engineering Research Laboratory
Current research is conducted using a custom made Traction rig that
allows the study of lubricants under the conditions of micro-slippage. Other
equipment includes a multi-channel Remote Terminal Unit for distributed data
collection and machine control. Other research includes the study of
graphite powder lubricants, and evaluation of the thermal characteristics of
production systems.
